The SASSI Participation Scheme allows responsible seafood businesses to support sustainable and responsible fishing and seafood production by pledging to adhere to certain guidelines. It depends on VOLUNTARY adherence to these guidelines. Participants are not audited for their activities, and therefore WWF cannot assume responsibility for Participants that may not conform to the guidelines. Consumers are therefore encouraged to contact SASSI should they feel that a participant has done anything in contravention to these conditions.
