Herewith
follows a list of general environmental conservation
information, including wildlife education organisations,
Technikons and Universities.
Q. How
can I help to protect our planet from global warming?
A.
Recycle paper, glass and metals - making new products
uses more energy.
Replace light bulbs with energy-efficient fluorescents.
Replace worn-out home appliances with energy-efficient
models.
Insulate your geyser and hot water pipes to lag the
warmth generate.
Q. How
can I support WWF-SA? Can I become a member of WWF-SA?
A. You
can support WWF-SA by making
a donation of money or a
product or service. WWF-SA does not have an individual
membership scheme, but individuals are welcome to support
our work. Click on "Support
WWF" for more information.
Q. Can
I apply to WWF-SA for funding or bursaries?
A. WWF-SA
has limited funds available to fund its conservation
projects, and is unable to fund all the applications
it receives. Therefore, take a look at what we don't
fund before submitting an application to us. Due to
the limited funds available, we are unable to fund bursaries
of any kind.
Q. Does
WWF-SA accept volunteers, interns or exchange students?
A. WWF-SA
does not have the facilities or resources to accept
volunteers or interns who wish to work for or help us.
